Camping Etiquette

A few things I’d like to point out for those who don’t camp. There is such a thing as camping etiquette – if you see people in a camp site don’t walk through it! WALK AROUND! It’s almost private property whilst your set up and you deserve a bit of privacy. We have been camping and had people walking under towels and straight through the middle of us – it’s rude!

Another point I’d like to make is – the toilets and showers are for everyone to use so don’t leave your rubbish lying around. Our rangers are responsible for looking after the parks and I’m sure they don’t want to be cleaning up after messy and disgusting tourists. You wouldn’t leave rubbish on the floor in your own bathroom so don’t do it in public!

The last thing I’d like to mention is have some consideration for your neighbours – if you have small children, please keep them quiet early in the morning, not everyone likes to get up at 6am.

If there’s any other grievances you have experienced let me know – late night parties, etc.
